Maddie Kathleen likes to write and draw stories – especially ones with robots, creatures, and other nonhuman characters. Her work has appeared in "You Died: An Anthology of the Afterlife", an anthology published by Iron Circus Comics. The book received an Eisner award and a Ringo nomination for "Best Anthology" in 2022.

She has also contributed illustration work to to Siona's Tale, a YA adventure novel, Might & Blade, a hack and slash RPG, and Venture Capital, a tabletop deck by Sixpence Games.

After graduating from the California College of the Arts in 2022, Kathleen moved to Berkeley, CA, where she lives in a housing cooperative with her girlfriend and two guinea pigs. Her hobbies include reading zines, collecting ALL Pokémon (yes, all of them), and N64 games of questionable quality.
